Groups In Micharity

In Micharity, groups are used to create lists in your system.  These can be lists for any purpose, although we usually recommend not creating groups for event attendance or campaign contributors as these lists can already be extracted using the reports tool.

As said in the video, groups can be for either individuals or organizations, groups cannot contain both types of contacts.

You can add contacts into a group either from their constituent profile under the groups tab, or from the group page using the "Add Member" button in the top right.  On the page for a group you an also export the group list into .csv format to use for email marketing.
