How to Use Gift Proposals

To access gift proposals in Micharity:

Select Solicitation tools on the navigation bar,

Then; select gift proposals from the dropdown

The Gift Proposals tool is designed to give you visibility into the progress and status of your efforts to attain funding. You and your team can add proposals to the system and update them as the process continues for each proposal.

When you are on the gift proposals page you can select the add gift proposal button to create a profile for a proposal.

You will first add the contact who the proposal is being made to, you can add proposals to individuals or to organizations.

Next you will enter the campaign that these funds would be used for, the solicitor who is in charge of this proposal, the stage you are in in your proposal, the inclination of the funder to fund and the deadline for your proposal. Then, enter the amount you are proposing for funding.

Finally, you can press the Add button and your proposal profile will be created and saved.

Once the proposal has been created, youll be taken to the details page where you can add additional information including comments and funding amounts if the proposal has been funded.
