Searching for contacts

When searching for contacts, be aware of if you are searching for an individual, or an organization.

You can search for individual contacts by four different criteria

First Name
Last Name
Email Address
Phone Number

You can search for organization contacts by three different criteria

Organization Name
Email Address
Phone Number

When searching through your CRM (Shown below), use the search field to enter ONE of the above criteria only

Quick Tip: If you cannot find a contact that appears on your donation report, try including an organization name on your report. In most cases when a contact cannot be found it is because the name appearing on your report is the name of a primary contact at an organization, not an individual contact.
