WHAT IS CRM?

The CRM module or Customer Relations Management module comprises a tool that allows you to manage your constituents in addition to your relationships and interactions with them.


WHAT ARE CONSTITUENTS?

Constituents differ by non-profit but may include service recipients, partners, volunteers, prospects, donors, suppliers, and staff, anyone with whom the non-profit interacts. The Micharity platform differentiates between Individual constituents and Organization constituents. Individual constituents refer to a single person/individual, while Organization constituents refer to entities (corporation, non-profit, foundation, etc.).

THE INDIVIDUALS PAGE

This section pertains to your Individuals page which contains a list of all the individual constituents that are saved in your system.

The Individuals page has 3 sections (as seen in Figure 1):

  1. Views, Export, Manage Columns, and New Constituent buttons 
  2. Search and filter 
  3. Individuals Grid Section

1. Views, Export, Manage Columns, and New Constituent buttons This is where you can add different views for your grid, export your individuals grid, manage your grid columns, and add a constituent to your CRM system. Section

2. Search and Filter You can see the following fields: 

  • Search Bar 
  • Calendar Search Icon Section

3. Individuals Grid The Individuals grid allows you to access all the fields available for individual contacts within the CRM.

ACCESSING YOUR LIST OF INDIVIDUALS 

Steps to accessing your list of Individual Constituents: 

  • Click on the Constituents tab > Select the Individuals option from the list as shown in Figure 2.

THE ORGANIZATIONS PAGE 

This section pertains to your Organizations page, which contains a list of all the organization constituents that are saved in your system. 

WHAT YOU SEE ON THIS PAGE 

The Organizations page has 3 sections (as seen in Figure 3): 

1) Views, Export, Manage Columns, and New Organization buttons
