Your Organization Profile

REQUIRED SECTIONS OF YOUR ORGANIZATION’S PROFILE

Please note that the Business Number (BN) field is not required; however, you cannot issue tax receipts without it. This is because we allow some organizations that are not non-profits, or are awaiting their charity status, to use the Micharity Platform. If you would like to be able to issue tax receipts, then this field is mandatory.

WHAT YOU CAN SEE ON THIS PAGE

The Organization Profile Page (shown in Figure 1) allows you to edit the following options about your organization by clicking on the respective tab in the left menu on this page: 

  1. Basics information 
  2. Organization Address 
  3. Search Categories 
  4. Signing Authority

ACCESSING YOUR ORGANIZATION’S PROFILE 

Steps to accessing your organization’s profile: 

  1. Click on the Settings tab > Select the Manage Profile option from the drop-down list as seen in Figure 2. 

Please note that if you have an Analyst user role, then you will not be able to see the settings tab.

EDITING YOUR ORGANIZATION’S PROFILE – ADDRESS INFORMATION 

Steps to edit address information: (Figure 3) 

  1. Click on the Settings tab > Select the Manage Profile option from the drop-down list. 
  2. Click on the Address Tab on the left-hand-side. 
  3. Fill in your organization’s address. 
  4. Please remember to click Save Changes to save any edits

EDITING YOUR ORGANIZATION’S PROFILE – SIGNING AUTHORITY 

Steps to edit signing authority: (Figure 4) 

  1. Click on the Settings tab > Select the Manage Profile option from the drop-down list. 
  2. Click on the Signing Authority Tab on the left-hand-side. 
  3. Upload an image of the signature of the signing authority for your organization and add in their name. 
  4. Please remember to click Save Changes to save any edits
